Jeanette contacted me wanting some real and honest shots of her family so we thought to keep it local. She too grew up here and so I liked the significance in that.
When I arrived the kids were so excited and were looking forward to the adventure and soon we were off with gumboots, bikes & strawberries for a bit of fun in the green zones around their neighborhood.
There had been a ton of rain but we were blessed with one of those very special winters days where the skies cleared, the sun shone bright and the world looked clean, fresh and promising all over again.
Jeanette said there was a wetland close by where we would likely find a few tadpoles – I was game so we started out there. The kids had a blast, the icy water didn’t faze them one bit and watching them play, I was happily transported back to a time and place where I too ran around carefree, living in the moment without a worry in the world – just the way life should be!
Thank you Ava, Leo & little Millie for a very special afternoon out, thanks Jeanette & Andrew for inviting me to spend time with your very precious family and for sharing such a very special spot where my boy too can enjoy such carefree innocent fun. See you back there soon!
