When Gemma and I first met they were very clear on a couple of things – they would not be having a ceremony and this would not be a traditional wedding…. besides a couple of speeches, they wanted to arrive (already hitched unbeknownst to their guests) and simply enjoy the precious time with their family & friends – and they did!
She said they wanted to keep things simple – and they did, fabulously so!
Their incredible venue Beau Constantia would set the scene and the surrounds would be their decor – and oh boy, it sure was!
She said there would be plenty of vino & food all afternoon – between Beau Constantia, Eagles Nest & Entree – they didn’t disappoint!
She said there would be loads of laughter and that they, their friends & family would be sure to thoroughly enjoy themselves – and well, they did just that!
There was however one thing that wasn’t as simple – well for Stuart anyways. Gemma wasn’t going to wear a wedding gown – but he loves her in a dress and so at the last minute she found Tomcat Couture in Hout Bay who draped her in the most exquisitely subtle yet utterly feminine piece – she looked sensational – and did she surprise and delight her man? (… not to mention others) – she sure did!
Thank you Gem & Stu, it was an honor to capture your incredible celebration!
