Tanika & Tertius – Riebeek Kasteel

I’m all for weekend weddings – those where you all head off and make an extended stay of it, I mean why not get to enjoy your nearest and dearest for a prolonged period of time rather than just one evening and that’s exactly what Tanika & Tertuis set out to do. Both their folks were very involved in the pulling together of this celebration – very special indeed and everyone headed out and stayed between Riebeek West & Riebeek Kasteel.  They even divvied the wedding up with the ceremony in the NG Kerk in Riebeek West and reception at the festive Royal Hotel in Riebeek Kasteel – and festive it was indeed thanks to the talents of Jo Martin & a fun loving crowd!  

Now if you haven’t been out that way you certainly don’t need to wait on a wedding invitation to do so – although if you do receive one in the post then you can be guaranteed its going to be a goodie!!  This is a magic area and well worth a weekend visit!  We stayed at the lovely Church Hills Guest House in Riebeek West – Koen went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and I can highly recommended them.

If you are getting married out this way look no further than Richard of Just Gorgeous he was fantastic!  Charmaine of Chanel in the V&A did their make up and well, Tanika looked like a tiny fairy princess – she is utterly gorgeous, had a dress to perfectly compliment her fun personality – this by Teresa of Geliefdt – (gotta LOVE her range) and when I mean tiny don’t let that fool you, she has a huge personality and an even bigger voice – yup that girl can sing and look out because so can her sister!  Tertius you are a lucky lad and I wish the two of you everything of the best, it was wonderful capturing your story unfold!
