They were planning an August wedding in OZ, however when Zel spoilt Jess with a 2 night stay for her birthday in December after falling in love with Franschoek on a previous visit, something about the place just felt right for them and they made an impromptu decision to tie the knot here before the year was out. Nothing like planing an elopement wedding in a matter of days – but obviously it was meant to be, they discovered Mont Rochell and booked immediately, they then did some superbly impressive speed-shopping before we all headed out to Franschoek. On the day they were both as calm as can be, completely at one with their decision to trust their instincts and once Jess had had that all important call with mum back home it was just Zel & Jess, Zel’s mum & close friend – a lovely setting with a majestic backdrop – it really couldn’t have been more perfect!
It all took place @ Mont Rochelle and they enjoyed themselves so much they ended up extending their stay. Helga did her gorgeous natural hair & makeup and Dion gave a lovely service & left them with some wise-words to remember for the years to come.
