I always enjoy heading out to the Riebeek Valley, it’s just far enough to feel like an exciting destination but close enough that when you round that last bend and head up the hill surrounded by vineyards & mountain views you think to yourself – WOW, that was quick, and it’s always with a happy heart that I drive into Riebeek Kasteel, with its familiar sense of warmth & welcoming, leaving you keen to explore!
When shooting Riebeek West side my favorite stay is with Koen @ Church Hills where again you are warmly welcomed and guaranteed a more than comfortable stay – so do remember this, for a home away from home experience should you head that way. Koen is also a brilliant tour guide so if you want to base yourself out in the Valley and explore the surrounds to the City from there, one can do so.

chose to bring their family & friends out to Groenrivier for their wedding day and with their help as well as the fabulous Tracy & her team from Trunk Events, they put together something super special – especially their decor, this they set up on their own and I was more than impressed! A pop of winter color, candles & lighting makes all the difference!!
