Simone & Adrian Test

So Sim & Adrian have decided to tie the knot – these two have really got their s__t together.  They know what they want and strive to doing all they can to achieving it!  Take Simone and her passion for food for example – do yourself a favour and treat yourself to something mouthwatering at The Heart in Melkbos or I Love Melkies – either way you will be SO glad you did!   They are going to make a formidable team and one of their key qualities is their passionate communication – they are always talking, discussing, planning but best of all, always laughing!  They have the most wonderful ability to laugh together – those bubbles of laughter that from deep down on the inside and then explode into waves of joy – I love it.

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

“Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”

They have chosen to get married at de Uijlenes and make an entire weekend getaway of it with close friends & family.  This is one of my all time favourite wedding venues.  If you don’t know it yet and you are currently looking for a unique farm & forest wedding venue, be sure to check them out and then get in touch with Staci to show you around in person, I’m sure you will be smitten!  Don’t waste anytime in doing so either as they book up fast!  Anyways being family I have the honour of attending as a guest for a change – should be a treat right?  Let’s see how long I can manage to leave my camera in the bag and just enjoy being present with my family and watching my boys participate (will be my wee Alex’s first time down the aisle as ring-bearer, whilst dad stands very proudly alongside his nephew) and simply being content in watching The Shieldster do his thing!

We did however manage to catch this quick session – a congrats on their engagement shoot and had so much fun in the process.  Special thanks to Sim’s uber talented makeup artists mum for playing too – Simmi looked fantastic and what a pleasure having you chauffeur us around the CBD!

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep

Big loves to you both and bring on the 25th of May!
