Misch & Branko

Misch & Branko came to me through her mum Joan – my favorite kind of referral, someone who I’ve met along the way and with who’m my work resonated, then referring me on again! Her mum and I met SIX years earlier whilst I was having a meeting with another mum, discussing wedding details for her kids coming to the Cape from Natal to get married. I remember how much she liked my Storybooks at the time and then all these years later she sent Michelle & Branko my way the moment they started their planning for a Cape Town wedding. How incredible is that!

Well I’m so glad she did. Michelle & Branko were a pleasure to work with and an even greater pleasure to photograph, fun and sassy and utterly smitten!

They base themselves in Serbia, Branko’s hometown – a stone’s throw from so many idyllic wedding destinations; they work on the ships and therefore get to travel the world and see so many amazing places, however sometimes there is just no place like home. So when Michelle wanted to come back to Cape Town to tie the knot with her folks as well as nearest & dearest Branko obliged and I’m so glad his mum was able to come over too as she was an absolute delight and couldn’t have been prouder to see her son wed the love of his life.

The planning

Working closely with the amazing Stephanie & her team, they planned an intimate celebration at the 12 Apostles and boy did she show off that evening with a sunset that was just breathtaking.
